Hello all,

Lighting question. I was wondering if my fellow Ecotech Radion users could post their settings. I have been using the default high growth setting running around 85% and the light is freaking bright. I have a 24x24x24 with the light about 8 inches above the water level. I am thinking I should tweak the color settings.

10am the lights go on (20k)
10:40 the light ramps up to around 40% intensity (20k)
12:00 the light peaks at 75% power running 12k
7pm the light begins to ramp down (12k)
8:30 the light temp goes back to 20k but drops to around 40%
9pm the lights are basically switching down to moonlight.

My concern is that I am only running either 20k or 12k....is this acceptable? My tank is dominated by soft corals.

If anyone is using a different set of temperatures I would love to hear what you are doing and what kind of performance you are getting.

Thanks

Bernard

I'm also very curious about this, I have two XR15 Pro's. I've been looking for a place that people share their profiles, but I haven't found it yet.

I use a similar program, but only up to 70% intensity. Ramps up to 20k, then to 16K, then to 20k, then down.

Hope you used the acclimation program. Especially going to 85%.
