Any lighting schedule suggestions for a LPS frag tank?

The SPS schedule worked great when I had the lights. I'm sure the research is behind the LPS schedule just as much.

As far as schedule and times... A 12 hour cycle with sunrise to sunset, with maybe 8 hours of peak intensity would work. What kind of lights do you run?


Do you also have a display tank where frags will be going? If so, what you can do is try and duplicate the lighting schedule on frag tank, as well as same lighting. This way the corals get acclimated to the same lighting, transfer from frag to display is easy.

I do this with my frag tank. Lighting is same all around.
