Does the par seem right on my par map? I thought I would get more out of 2 XR15's.

I used the Apogee MQ-500 borrowed from my local club. It seemed to be newer and in decent shap.

Lights are on a Red Sea Max E260 - Dimensions - 36"L x 22.6W x 22H mounted 8" off the water with standard RMS mounts.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

They are not output monsters, but the MQ-500 needs an immersion factor of 1.32 applied to each measurement when used under water. When used in open air, the measurement needs no correction factor.

If it is newer, then it might have been a MQ-510, which has the correction factor applied already.

It was the MQ-500 and I added the 1.32%. I guess I'll have to crank these bad boys up or add a 3rd.

It looks like you have the difusers on them. if so that will reduce the output by about 20% also.

Those numbers look about right and yes the diffusers sap more like 25% IME.

Lets see.. First you lose 37% of the "potential" w/ the AB+ schedule @ 100%, 20-25% w/ the diffuser and possibly 10-20% if your glass is painted..
so from 190W you are getting .. roughly..80 "effective" Watts of light .. producing 270 PAR at 14-ish inches of depth from light to top of rocks..

Just for fun..
