I have a 93g Cube reef and I am looking to swap out of my ATI T5HO fixture and move into LED.

I was looking at the XR30 G5 and am wondering if a single fixture would be sufficient for my tank.

Mixed Reef, Some LPS/SPS/Softs you know how it goes.

Tank is 30x30x24

The XR30 says Coverage:
  • Maximum Spread: 32" x 32"
  • Recommended Spread: 24" x 24"
I figure the actual area coral sits in the tank is probably more like 26x26 all my Rock and coral are about 4" from the side of the aquarium at least.

What are your thoughts? Maybe a different light would suit my need better? I just cant afford to buy 2x XR30's at this time.

One would be sufficient at the beginning, you can add another fixture down the road according to your needs.
