I recent bought a Radion XR30 Gen 3. The seller said it's working as of the day before the sale. I tried to connect it with ReefLink and could not connect it. The buttons lit solid green and lights are on at very high intensity. I tried with USB cable to ReefLink and also try the Connection Manager.

Weird finding is that although lights are on, fan not working. And, from time to time, when I tried to connect the USB cable, the light turned off, not all the time but more often than not.

Light also trip GFCI reset but works on non GFCI outlet, I think it's the ballast issues, not the light itself.

I open the cover and the controller board looks very clean. I tested the fan and it works.

What do you think can be the causes? I suspect the logic board issues.

Does it worth send the light in for repair or it should retire?

Solid green buttons is usually a sign of an electrical problem either with the main board or the clusters.
G3 is an older light. If the LEDs are mostly good, but the issue is with the board, it is still worth repairing. If lots of LEDs are also burned out, then it's a tough call.

Thank you. Most of the LEDs are there and very bright. I hate throwing those but could not find much information about troubleshooting them.

Since you already have the light opened up, try to push all connectors in place, including clusters and the RF module. Just in case those got loose in shipping.

If it still doesn't work, you are welcome to send it in and I'll likely be able to repair it:
