I have a 90 gallon 24X24X36. I am running the scedule provided by Ecotech live after a 3 week acclimation period. I think the lights are to bright in the tank and my glass is forming algea quite rapidly. Can anyone give me an idea on a working scedule with light intensities? Much appreciated !

I think maybe asking gen 3 vs gen 4. Makes a difference since they are different. I run the gen 3 pro so if that' what you have I can share settingsOk so the headline kinda says which light I’m using. And I have mostly softy coral. Gonapori and leathers.
Given its mostly soft coral and LPS try running 100% blue channels, 15% white, 10-20% Red/Green and start overall at about 35% brightness. 10-11 hour days with an hour ramp at the beginning and end. Assuming your lights are on the standard Radion arms (9.0-10" above the water?). The one thing you don't want to do is keep changing your light schedule, seems like thats what triggers blooms. Set it, see how it does for 2-3 weeks and then change if needed. Lower bright is better then higher so work up to it.
Thanks for the info! I’m running the lights on the second schedule from eco tech live. Not the grow schedule. The light is 9 inches from the water. The graph shows the highest it gets is 78% but the color sliders are all 100%. The 2 whites are at 50% and the brightness is set at 100%
Are your lights GEN 4 PRO or 3? How much red/green? Too much and it will promote algae. I still think you might just have diatoms and that's part of the natural cycle.
FYI...I have a 110 gallon display, 2 XR30's and 1 XR15 and run brightness at 45%, mixed reef. Honestly if I ran them at 100% everything would cook.

I’m using the second schedule on the eco tech live app. The one for color I believe . 12 hours with a peak of 78% but my sliders are all 100% except for the whites, they are at 50%. The brightness is at 100%. That’s where I’m confused!
I use apex for control and gen3 pros so it's slightly different, but I keep the sliders at max green 24, red 12 (inching up to 24), white 24, blues 100, uv 50 (inching up to 100). Max intensity 50. I get great growth both sps and zoas.

The slider right above the save button. That should be at about 30-40% for soft corals (guessing as I keep sps). That is where you lower the intensity. I have the same lights on a 90 and I should have a par meter this weekend to test. I have an SPS tank and at levels above 85% I started getting bleaching so my guess is about 30-40% for soft corals. Ignore the % on the graph as that will take into consideration total wattage of all colors. You should be concerned about the percentage of the color curve you choose. I hope that makes sense.

OP, I find it hard to talk about radion and ecotech live too. I have 3 radion pro XR30 TIR wide angle lens perpendicular mounted on a 54x28x21 and run the AB+ with white adjusted to 32 instead of 24 for 7 hours a day with ramp up and down actinic. My full day power is 250 watts. Sliders and brightness don't matter too much to me, I want to know watts. Will gang all 3 lights to a watts up watt meter soon to confirm. My SPS LPS etc all grow good.

I just ran some PAR numbers with the Gen4 PRO over a 90 gallon (48x18x24). Running at 80% power on the SPS AB+ program the Par levels were 300-450 at 6 inches and about 250 on average at 18 inches. To be honest, the light intensity can vary dramatically due to rock and coral shading. Each tank will be different, but the numbers above are good rough estimates. At 20-24 inches the light is 50-200 PAR. These numers are most effected by rock shading.

I have the same lights on a 108 gallon, 59" long. I have two g4 pros on the coral lab program and I have it topped out at 55%. 7 hours on. I think the program is for sps and some lps, I think its called the phx or something like that.

I am running 2 gen 4 radion pros on a 48 inch long by 18 wide by 24 deep 90 gallon SPS dominate tank
I am running the sps AB+ program. I have the intensity at 80% (on the advance slider section) and my PAR levels are 300-450 at 6 inches and about 250 on average at 18 inches. The screens on the software are confusing. On the right side where you have the graph, there is a percentage. This is a percentage of the total power of the light. If you are running with ANY channel at less than 100%, this will NEVER be 100%. On the advance sliders you have slider to adjust the overall power of your program/settings in terms of percentage. This is where you reduce the light intensity. Adjusting on the right side of the screen has funky effects.
PAR levels can vary dramatically at the lower levels depending on your rock and coral placement. Shading and reflections can drastically change PAR levels. So these settings worked for me. Your tank could be different. If you have a different shaped tank or size or number or types of lights, your settings will be completely different. There is no one size fits all. On the Gen 4 Pros at 100% intensity the PAR was higher, not too high, but my corals were bleaching a bit and I lowered the intensity to 80% I may or may not increase in the future, but I am leaving the settings here for a couple of months unless the corals tell me differently. I can not stress enough the differences in the tank and how it can effect the PAR. My tank has a black background with a large center overflow and has a large euro brace. Almost everything can affect how the light makes it into your tank.
