I just replaced my MH bulbs and have used it for about a month at 4 hours/day and the inside of the bulb broke. Has anybody seen something like this? I called BRS and they won't warranty it past 30 days. (Bought it last November)

Which ballast was that 400W radium used with? That can happen if the bulb is overdriven on certain ballasts.

Standard setting shouldn’t cause that. Do you know if it failed during warm up or while fully operating?

It’s recommended to change them out sometime between 12-15 months from what I remember, seems like you’re coming up on that date here shortly so I wouldn’t worry too much.

The bulb was only used for about a month.
Ahh I guess I need to get my eyes checked haha. Well in that case it does seem to be a problem. Would have been helpful to know if it blew while in use or not. My best guess is some kind of electrical arc caused that damage how I couldn’t tell you.

Gotcha. I've just never seen these bulbs break at that part before is all. Thanks for trying!
