That patron was sweet. Thought about bidding on that.

I only saw it up for sale once, but remembered the green/red color combo was pretty nice and unique, so I asked him to add it to my order... I'm not the biggest fan of buying without WYSIWYG pics, but hopefully it'll be nice.

I'd like to see a pic of the patron once you get it in your tank. Rich's pics are a little overblown sometimes :)

Every time I have bought from him without a wysiwyg picture, I have been very pleased so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Nice pick ups btw! What does the Patron chalice look like?

That's good to know, thanks! I also got those zoas from him that I wanted :D

If memory serves, the patron sort of looks like the blue crush, but with green instead of blue...

To me the flaming bugatti looks nearly identical to the SC dynamite. All of these morphs are amazing IMO.

Great thread!

do you have both? Because I read from another member here that has both side by side, it is nowhere near as bright or vibrant as the dynamite.

No I do not have both. I'm just going off of all of the pics I've seen. I did read that post by the other member but I'm still not sure I'd take is as gospel as there any many different factors that could be swaying his opinion early on. I can only assume both his frags came from different vendors, so different tanks with different lighting and more than likely different sections of what could be the same colony.

yeah, i don't like going by hearsay or pictures but will only rely on hands on comparisons from now on. Too many disapointments and picture playing have affected my judgement. And I'll only listen the word of trusted reefers like Peter on making comparisons if they aren't in my tank.
