In my nano 8 where I have recently increased the amount of lighting significantly the green polyps in the main body of the coral have turned orange like the ones on the growth edge. Otherwise still healthy and growing. Does this mean it is getting too much light? Will they revert back when it has acclimated? Anyone know?

They might change with the light increase. I have a monti that changes with light changes or if my calcium, alkalinity or magnesium changes.

i just bought a rainbow monti on sunday and it was just fragged on saturday, left it at the bottom sand bed for time being will put up higher soon, but the body is blue and polyps as of now i can only see green->red. but im happy its a pretty small frag not even inch in diameter. I think with time mine and yours will show more of the rainbow effect..just keep an eye on it and make sure your levels are good
