Hey Guys,
I have a 75 gallon saltwater tank that’s been running for two years. This past year I started jumping into corals and that was when I realized my ph was kinda low. It is at 7.8. I tried adding a ten gallon refugium which runs 24/7 using Caulerpa, but it hasn’t really seemed to have effected the ph much it’s about 7.9 now. It isn’t really an option to run an airline from my skimmer to the outside. I’m wondering if I could fix it by adding baking soda to my rodi top offs and maybe even water changes. Or do you guys have any other suggestions. I’m not in a huge hurry because my zoas, mushrooms, and bubble tip anenome seem fine, but I know that they could grow much faster if the ph was in its optimal range.
