My little brother just recently purchased a 20 gallon hex tank and needed lighting. Being hard to find a light that would fit that tank I built him an led fixture.

It has 14 leds total. 12 day lights and 2 moon lights. There are 4 royal blues, 6 blues, and 2 cool whites. It turned out great and is extremely bright! I think he will be happy with it.

I'm going to fabricate some tabs for mounting but other than that it's complete. First pics are of the driver full low, then full high, then moons lights.

That looks like an awesome DIY project. Post up some pictures when you've got her mounted to the tank, really interested to see how it turns out!
