I’ve had this Moorish Idol about 6 months and it’s at least doubled in size.

Beautiful fish, do you have a full tank shot? Looks interesting.

Im not going to get a chiller but unfortunately my tank will hit 79 during the summer but will only be 76 during the cooler parts of the year. Hopefully the little guy can take the heat!
get a couple of computer fans and put them over the sump..it will drop your temp by 2-3C...only down side is it increases evaporation so you will need a good ato

You’re not alone. Took me a while to get used to both the metric and American systems. Right now I can convert between the two without issues, but Fahrenheit is one that still eludes me.
I’m fine with both but the only part of the measure system I can’t work with is kilometers lol

I am so cheap, these are about as rare as I get. Some of these fish are not really rare, but the picture I took show them at a rare moment. At least not common every day pictures.

Not necessarily rare by any means, but definitely not something seen in the hobby regularly. Using a pic I snapped at the store before bringing him home a few weeks ago. Such an awesome personality. The rhino blenny. Perfect for someone who wants a blenny that won't nip at their corals. It's like a cross between a blenny and a hawkfish behavior wise.

Some more rare fish I’ve owned over the past year.
Siganus niger (unfortunately he passed recently)
IMG_9201.jpeg

Siganus magnificus (Now 5 years old)
IMG_9263.jpeg

Hoplolatilus marcosi
IMG_9251.jpeg

Paracheilinus hemitaeniatus
IMG_9254.jpeg

Cirrhilabrus isosceles (He’s recently vanished so I’m assuming him dead as he was incredibly skinny)
IMG_8993.jpeg

Pomacanthus navarchus
IMG_8948.jpeg

Nemateleotris lavandula
IMG_8491.jpeg

Paracheilinus attenuatus (Unfortunately he passed just before the Black Fox).
IMG_8237.jpeg

And yesterday I picked up a new Blenny species but he is hiding so I can’t get a photo and he’d look more like another species of Blenny.

They’re definitely popping up more in the hobby as of late, but that didn’t stop me from immediately buying one of these at the lfs when I saw it!!

This was Waldo, my Red Rooster Pygmy Waspfish (Paracentropogon zonatus). Easily one of the best fish I’ve ever kept, though he unfortunately went MIA a few months ago, and hasn’t returned. My best guess was that he slowly starved, as he was extremely picky about his food, and I only really saw him eat the occasional ghost shrimp. I’d definitely try one again in the future though, and would probably devote a system much more catered to the species’ dietary needs.
