Unfortunately I'm having a bad experience with this company. I initially placed an order with them on Feb 25, 2017 for five rock flower anemones. After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant on placing any order. Here is what I sent them. "I’m writing in regards to my order #4162 I placed with you on 02/25/2017. I’m writing from my government email while at work (U.S. Customs & Border Protection). I’m inquiring about a shipment date for my order. I have read some reviews, some good and some bad. After reading some of them I hope you can understand my concern about receiving my order. I’m hoping that the online post are not a true representation of your business and that my experience will be as good as other post I have read".

I got a reply back from Seth "Mark any bad reviews that I know of are years old (5-6 maybe older)
Before I ever managed this company As the Rock Flowers description states: Due to the high demand of this item it could take a couple weeks to ship The weather has been pretty rough for diving the last month or so so we have not had them nearly as much as when the temps are higher and diving is better. At any time you are welcome to request a refund if the wait becomes more than you would like.
I appreciate your order and look forward to getting you some anemones as soon as we possibly can.
Thanks and have a great night
Seth

After two weeks I sent a message questioning what has happened to my order. I get back "Was this order for rock flower anemone?".

This is disturbing. The previous negative post are coming out to be true and I think everyone should think twice before submitting an order with them.

I just got another reply from them telling me it may take up to three weeks before they ship. The reason was poor weather for diving. And I agree, why sell something you don't have, or at least post that the items are on backorder so at the time of purchase you can make an educated decision about ordering.

Let me say this, their disclaimer does say "Due to the extremely high demand for these anemones Sometimes shipping of this item may take up to 14-21 days". But nothing about having to go diving or that they are on backorder. I can only see myself questioning them again next week.

The guys at Rare Reef has failed to ship my order and after three weeks I have requested a refund from them. They seem to be ignoring my request and do not reply back after I have written to emails from them. This is a WARNING to everyone to stay away from this company!!!!!!!!!
