Rarest hammers you have seen?

Extreme Corals is known for extremely deceptive photo editing practices.

I wouldn't buy anything from them, and I certainly wouldn't buy anything that looks abnormally unique or special

I own both of these

Hey again everyone.... Have an awesome update here.

When I tell people I'm trying to collect hammers, I get a lot of responses about how they're a boring coral, and "yeah I've seen everything, very rare I see a new one" is common. There are definitely some mainstay hammers that seem to be in most people's reefs, but I stumbled upon a reefer who has undoubtedly the most amazing hammer collection I have seen, and maybe the best out there (would love to be proved wrong on this).

Behold the collection of @Bd.reef (Bpd_Coral_Consulting on IG). Posted with his permission of course!

Simply awesome. Seeing these rare specimens just makes me really ponder what is potentially out there that no one has yet seen.

As a reminder, if anyone has any of these amazing hammers up for trade or sale please reach out! Thanks for reading.
Did you find any of the amazing hammers?

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to collect hammer corals. Would be curious to see some rarer color morphs/shapes the community here has seen. IDC if it's a wall or branching, frammer, etc. Here are a few cool ones I've got saved (no clue which of these are photoshopped...):

Many of those pics are vendor edited / enhanced

This is the only hammer I have. I was told its an electro hammer from TSA. I love it even if it isn't lol.

Solomon Anderson Patent hammers are pretty rare. If you see one at a yard sale or tool pawn, grab it, they are often worth thousands.

Otherwise, I wouldn't know what a rare hammer is even if it hit me in the head.

I like this one! I have an unnamed that’s similar, I’m not sure if it’s rare or not but it is unique!

Genuine contributions are welcome. Trolling for attention isn’t. If you have something worthwhile to add to the discussion, feel free. Otherwise, there are plenty of other threads where you can go look for the reaction you’re after.

Hi Charlie - You reaction is certainly not what I was after. My post was genuine light hearted humor, a pun, a play on words. The only reaction intended was generating a smile or a laugh. I don't think that warrants being called an attention seeking troll, even if you missed the intent.

I also didn't realize that I had already posted a similar joke already in this thread. If I had, I wouldn't have posted a second one, but I do tend to post on direct puns when I see them and this was in my view. It is humor. Show me your hammers, frogspawn, torches that kind of thing.

Enjoy your thread, I wouldn't know a rare hammer vs a common hammer, but there are plenty of nice photos here.

Happy Reefing!
