Rastas not looking good

Okay, so I've had this frag for 7 days today. The middle row of polyps have been closed sense I put them in the tank until today.. but it looks like they've lost color and some "tentacles"? Anyone have any input on this??

Could be pest related. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs, asterinas, etc. Rastas are generally a hardy zoa.

Something bugging them. A worm crawled across. Or something at the base poking them. The others look good.

Thanks for the quick replies! Will they get their color back and heal? They've probably been closed for a total of 8 days including transit time to my house. I will continue to look for pests that could be irritating them.

Always a possibility of recovery. You've got new heads sprouting so I don't think its chemistry or lighting related. Also, keep an eye out for little aptasia between the polyps. They can irritate zoas.

No proof any of this works, but this is what I typically do when I have some zoas not happy. I have a small paintbrush and clean them gently and leave them alone for a couple of days. If they still look ticked, I'll give them a Bayer or Lugols dip and wait a couple of more days. I would say move them around in a different spot, but it looks like it's neighbors are happy, so it's I would assume flow and lighting are fine. If they all start looking unhappy then you might move them. My rastas love higher flow.

Thank you! I honestly didnt really do anything, just left them alone and fed some reef roids a couple times a week. They started coloring up and was looking good in no time! Here is pic I just took of them today.
