Razor Blades

I have a bowfront tank and it's hard to keep the glass clean on the front. I've used a mag float, tunze long care magnet, and recently the flipper. They just don't work well for me on a curved surface. I use a razor blade in a plastic holding clip. I can feel when I'm scraping grit off and it lets me get close to the seams with precision. I use the flipper through out the week and get it real clean by hand in tank with razor method, lol.

I've actually gouged my glass with a razor, so be very careful doing it that way!

I've use a straight razor blade the disposable ones before to clean glass and it works very well the ends are rounded so you don't have to worry about gouging possibilities, one side has a metal bar for reinforcement, if you can find them they're the best option I've seen so far for stubborn green coraline algae.
