I'm concerned that my anenome may be dead, what should I do?

How could I find it?

What would cause it to hide?

How long as it been in your tank?
Mine hid for about a week when first introduced but has been in the same place since

All water params ok?
Lighting?

Its been in there for a little over 2 months. All levels are good.

It's a 46 gallon bow front. I have one AI Vega.

Was it in the same place for the last 2 months?
They only tend to hide when they are stressed or splitting
Can u not see it at all?
If it was dead you would have noticed a spike in nutrients in the water

It was in the same spot for quite a while and then it moves around a couple times I've recently had an outfit for him but I've been struggling with algae for the past 4 months right now. I was told it was dead very strong odor and I don't smell anything

Lots of algae means your params are not ok im afraid and you have high nitrates or phosphates or both
What reading do you get?
Anemones do not like either of these

I'm at class till this evening so I'll check again when I get home. Thanks!

Thats terrible mate, get as much of it out as u can, increase water changes and run carbon

Everything else ok in tank?
