RBTA nailed my scoly

Woke up this morning and noticed one of my RBTA were on the move near the sandbed. Well his tentacle were hitting the edge of my bleeding green heart scoly. The flesh that was hit just burned off. I know most scolys don't recover well but I figured this one was nem induced so maybe if I move him towards a low flow low light area he may heal? Any thoughts or experiences???? Thanks

If it dosen't develope a bacterial infection, it should heel up.

Can you frag a scoly with success? Wasn't aware of this.

It's crazy because the RBTA barely touched my blue haddons carpet and actually made my carpet shrivel up. Of course this morning he was open and fine since the nem walked away but I was surpricsed a RBTA could harm a carpet. Thought it would be the other way around.

Don't jump the gun and frag a scolly. It's been done but to me they never seem to come back all the way.

have seen lots fragged and with good success. People are just scared cause they cost too much

ive fragged a couple of my scolly for the exact same reason and was successful

Lets see some pic's. I cant seem to keep them any longer than 5 years. I've seen them fraged but they don't look thet good.

sure you have a rbta? peeled the flesh off a scoly and made a hoddoni cringe? oh, snap! lol pics?

you can frag a scoly, but they never look the same. i would hold off. there is a good possibility that the flesh will heal. i have a scoly that had 1/4 of the flesh gone when i got it, almost like a slice of pie had been cut out of it. they flesh grew back.
