RBTA not opening like it used to.

I have a beautiful rainbow bubble tip anemone that suddenly stopped opening as much and began to lose color. I’m really not quite sure what is going on with him.

This is in a 75 gallon ext with roller mat, skimmer, two clowns 2 wrasses a hippo tang and a hawkfish.

My parameters are pretty stable. Alk 7.2-7.8, phosphate 0.03-0.1, nitrate 5-7, salinity 33-35 depending on if I’m using the Hanna checker 33 or refractometer 35. Still not sure which of these is more accurate.
I do dose tropic Marin AFR, tropic Marin NP bacto balance and neonitro to keep nitrates up. If I don’t dose nitrate they become zero pretty quick.

Do you direct feed them, I feed mine shrimp and they also get some floaties from fish food.

I don’t direct feed him. But I feed the tank pretty heavy

Direct feeding is probably a good thing to try. Anemones often benefit from it.
