Rbta splitting?

Ive noticed my rbta has not been open to his fullist the last couple of days, today while cleaning i checked a little closer to see if something was bothering it, but noticed maybe a second one on the side can anyone tell me what you think, and also can anyone tell me the best way to catch it to move to another tank, thanks and i can add more pictuers if needed

best way to catch it? lol well, can you remove that piece of live rock it's on? if so, then it's fairly simple. i take the rock outside, get a hammer and chisel, and chip away the rock around the foot of the bta. don't hit the bta!!! also wear some safety glasses :) once you chip away part of the rock that it's holding onto, it will peel right up.

if it is splitting, then one half will usually stay, and they other half will wander some. you can catch half when it wanders.
 
you could also try to lightly rub the foot of one while it is on the move getting away from the first one
