Hi everyone, this is my first post. I have a JBJ 20 gallon cube stand. What's the maximum weight it can hold? Would you risk a 25 gallon stand?

A 25 gallon tank stand should hold more weight than a 20 gallon tank will be.

The one big thing to keep in mind would be weight distribution. The footprint of the two different tanks can allow more weight even weight distribution for the 25 than for the 20.

They're usually engineered to hold significantly more weight than the tank plus all equipment. I'd still caution the weight distribution being different and making sure the tank "pressure points" match the stands so that the tank doesn't push down where there's no support or so the stand doesn't push on the tank bottom unevenly.
