Re-Starting my 7 Gal Tank

Finally decided to vacuum all the water and clean up my abandoned tank. Wash everything with fresh water, let the rock and sand dry for days.

The tank is 40x25x27cm with 2 hob filters. The plan is for keeping mushrooms with maybe 1 clownfish.

Today is day 7 since the tank first running. Daily adding 3ml of seachem stability.

Sounds awesome! Great for you to get back into it, I’m in a similar position for probably different reasons.
Have you considered a pair of clowns? Just might be nice for the fish to have a friend :)
In the wild they will generally live as pairs after leaving their group they were born into. We should be striving to provide something visually appealing to us, but more importantly an environment and lifestyle that would most closely match that of their naturally occurring system.

I would just put like a clown goby, red banded goby, and a couple other small goby’s and inverts in there. That tank is to small for a clownfish.

I think two clownfish is too much for this little tank. But you're right, they like to be in pair. Maybe i'll put aside clownfish for now

I’m sorry to hear that, I had a couple of jumpers before I got one of those framed nets to stop them. Tragic.
Lesson learnt and I won’t run a tank with fish without one now!
