Hi fellow reefers!

so i got this 10cmx10cm media reactor incase i wanna use GFO or carbon at some point. Problem is, i have a RE BK Double cone 130 skimmer it’s taking alot of space in the sump.

I think i could still probably squeeze the reactor in. Should i place the reactor after the filter sock or at the back side?

You definitely want to place the reactor AFTER mechanical filtration ... otherwise all of those sponges in the reactor will just accumulate detritus and create yet another nitrate factory you have to service.

Where possible, I would also place it AFTER the discharge from the skimmer for the same reason.
