Hey guys I’ve been doing saltwater for 6 years now it’s been through a Fowlr system, a shark tank with soft corals and now it’s full of tangs and other reef fish along with inverts. It’s a 180 gallon tank that I believe has been well established I have soft corals and bubble tip anemones in it right now. I was just wondering if these parameters are okay to move up into LPS and SPS. I’ve read a lot and studied just wanted to hear some feedback. I’ll attach a pick below Lights are reef breeders LEDs runs blues from 7am to 10pm and Whites from 10am to 8:30pm I also have a Refugium that kicks on at 10pm and I run a BRS GFO and Carbon reactor about half the flow. Skimmer is the Aquamaxx Q3 and I have two filter socks as well

Temp: 78.6
Salinity: 1.022
Calcium: 430ppm
Magnesium: 1240ppm
Alkalinity: 9.8
pH: 8
Nitrate: 5ppm
Phosphate: .25ppm
Ammonia: 0

i would bring your salinity up to 1.0256, and magnesium to 1350-1400 range. ALK is a little high. aim for 8-8.5. phosphate should be lower. if nitrate is 5, phosphate should be 0.03-0.05.

Start with easy lps . How is your flow in your tank? Some sps need high flow and alot of light! Just research the coral and start with beginner corals. Montipora encrusting coral birdsnest need 300 par and good flow . Ecst. Ecst.
