I'm just starting to get back into the hobby. Back when I set up my first tank over a decade ago I ordered my live rock from Tonga. I guess you can't do that anymore. Crazy how much things have changed.

Ya I need rock and now if i get 100 pounds for700 is a good deal...poop I think 400 for 100 pounds is fair...I dont really want to buy local...im unlucky and i went to 2 "reefer" houses and they were trying to sell me Limestone...and Homemade rock HAHA worth more than crack at the north pole.i guess i could get dry rock and just seed it...but No matter what they say you cant get Biome in a can well not really.Sure Live sand helps i guess..i hate fake purple painted rock.ill more than likely call all 3 or 4 places i know and twist arms
