Last week I ordered a bonded pair of Fancy Gumdrop Coral Crouchers from Liveaquaria's Divers Den. I got the fish on Tuesday morning. The female was small (only about an inch) and the male about 1.5 inches, but both were alive and adorable. Anyways, I acclimated them to the quarantine tank as per usual (gave them a super long 2 hour acclimation). They were listed to be eating frozen brine very well, so Tuesday evening I tried to feed, no luck. Tried again Wednesday evening, no luck. Thursday evening the male ate, the female did not. Friday was the same as Thursday, except I started noticing that the female did have something coming out of her rectum. I have not dealt with any fish diseases yet, so I was far from capable to accurately diagnose her, but from what I have read I figured it might be internal parasites. Saturday and Sunday went by as the same, male ate, female did not, female excreted stuff. And I should say, I tried feeding live brine, live blood worms, 2 different types of frozen brine, and frozen mysis (male likes the mysis). When I would try and feed the female food would sit on her head or right in front of her. Monday I was finally able to get prazi pro, some more foods, and selcon (I had also tried garlic to no effect). But when I came home she was already dead. I had already been in talks with LA in case they had any insight or help, and to keep them updated. I e-mailed them Monday evening about the death (and I put the body in the fridge in case they wanted it back). They e-mailed back first thing Tuesday morning saying to throw out the body and that I would have a credit in my account for the loss. I was sad as this is my first fish loss since starting, but I am glad it happened with LiveAquaria as I couldn't ask for a more helpful and understanding company.
The male is still doing well, he attacks the pipette to get food and eats like a champ.

They are a awesome company and stand behind there stuff. Sorry for your loss.
