I have a 90 gallon with about 100 lbs. each of live rock and live sand. Its been cycled about 2 months. I added a few fish, including a diamond goby about a month ago and everything is going great, other than the goby has piled most of the sand on one side of the tank as high as 6 to 8 inches deep in places.

Is it safe for me to level the sand back out (ive read not to disturb deep sand beds)? Will leveling it out and uncovering some rocks stress the fish out?

My vote is "Yes" as well. That tank is so new, if you had any 'toxic gas clouds' hiding under that sand bed at this point, we are all doomed! Lol. 🤣 Best wishes, and enjoy your tank. (Any photos?)

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
