Thank you @Ento-Reefer!I really like your scape!!
Your set up is very organized. I still have some cord tidying to do and my tank has been running since January.
Hey @ZaneTer , good to hear from you! Photos in a few. Hope all is well.Thank you very much for the laugh. I am not so thankful for the incredible jealousy I am feeling now over your fish and coral collection. Thank you for the update and I will keep following.
Iceland was awe-inspiring but brutally expensive.I am good thanks, I had my GHL fail spectacularly and killed almost every coral I own.
I bought a controller and equipment from siemens. It cost the same as the GHL setup but I control all of it.
I am always looking forward to your updates. I will be doing a rebuild thread soon when I get home again. Full photos to follow. I am very excited to see how your tank progresses.
How was your Icelandic??? Holiday?
Thanks Susan. Issues will happen. Overall I am happy with the progress. I have to keep reminding myself that patience is key. The pennant fish swam away happily to the wild blue. Bonus, a blenny swam in the bucket upon release of the pennant. Can't make this stuff up.hugs on the issues!! Looking forward to some pics.
Yes, I am blessed. haven't seen the adventurous blenny since I first put him in the tank though. It's like poof, he's gone...;BlackeyeThat is so cool that you can collect your own fish !!!
Can’t wait to see more pics of the tank.
Well, it's been almost 5 months now and all is well. Phone photos are what I have now.
I have no issues with the tank and have made some small changes and upgrades of some equipment but other than that nothing new to report. There is a lot of encrusting of the corals and good color. Nothing has"taken off" so to speak but all are growing and coloring nicely for me.
Feel free to question anything and comment/criticize...
Enjoy.
Thanks, NY_Caveman! Yeah, some are going off better than others. All are growing and encrusting. I have noticed that the ones that are coloring up or morphing colors are growing slower than others. A couple of the smaller pieces are really encrusting and morphing colors but just have not sprouted vertically.Looks great! A lot of good growth, but a few pieces really seemed to take off.
Thank you, najer! I'm stoked that there have been zero problems... so far. Just wondering if/when that hammer drops. Trying to stay on top of things for prevention.Looking very healthy, nice.

I'm not seeing it. Could you point out what you mean?Is there a reason you know of for the stripped skeleton in pic 4?
