Received new bubble coral damaged should I worry?

Hello all just received this bubble coral and it has cuts in the skeleton were the skin is, dont have a lot of experiance with these guys but looks like its not opening. Here are some pics. Should I worry?

The skin keeps on just melting and having these spots on them like a cigareatte on a shirt burnt spot.

did you dip? poss lps flatworms,looks like a lot of flesh remaining ,dip and moderate light and flow

looks 90% dead. I’d ask for refund if u got it online
Are ypu sure its dead? Because there is skin on it its just, it has these cuts, i think it got alittle bit better. If it is dead then I will ask for refund.

well, it shouldn’t be “melting” if it’s good. From your last picture it looks a lot better, though i won’t say it’s exactly safe yet. Normally I lose LPS that looks like 1st pic in a day

Leave it alone for now

I agree that it should be okay. Big meaty LPS look like this when they are first introduced to a new tank, with possibly different water parameters than what they were in before.

Plerogyra sinuosa need low light and low flow.

Thanks for the acurate info some guy at the top was saying its dead and get a refund. Good thing good people like you suggested to hold on to it and it will be ok. Now its open just i think needs some more time for it to aclimate
