Recent Planet Aquarium Megamatrix experience

Hi all - has anyone purchased a Planet Aquarium Megamatrix tank in the past year or so? How is the recent build quality and silicone work? I don’t care much about aesthetics, more about longevity and durability of the tank.

Deciding between Planet Aquarium Megamatrix vs Glasscages for a 48x18x25 tank. The planet aquarium build is much cheaper and am trying to figure out why as I have read good things about both companies but most of what I can find about Megamatrix was posted several years ago. Thanks!

If i was wanting a custom tank, I would go with Glass cages, but a semi-custom was good enough for me. So I went with Planet about 10 months ago. I am happy with it so far

Thanks for the replies. Decided to go with Planet Aquariums. I visited my LFS and their tanks are almost exclusively from Planet Aquariums and the build quality does seem rock solid is overall more affordable.

I have a 180g and 70g rimless from planet aquariums. I would have no reason to go with anyone else. Maybe glass cages…
