Hello!
I am not the type of person to take risks and for me, one of those risks is making an online coral purchase. The last time I made a purchase online, I bought a pair of dragonets with one having exposed flesh and possibly necrosis which it perished from and causing nutrients to spike and further harm the other inhabitants.
With that in mind I was hesitant to even consider buying what @Corals kingdom calls; "The Malaysian Miami Torch" Coral.
I asked for a pic in whites (with a slight amount of blue) which they happily provided.
Below is a photo for reference:
Now, here is MY photo in whites with a basic Samsung s6 camera: TODAY 8/24/2023 (one day after purchase)
Still acclimating but they are ok!
Under a mix of whites and blues (note the tiny bit of green in the center though the polyps are covering up the center) with a freebie which is a mushroom of some kind during acclimation:
In regards to the purchase process, very simple. I had wanted to use gift cards from my birthday but they declined. The vendor provided paypal links that I tried to use. They were very accommodating!
Package:
Contents (still warm):
Taking torch out of the box:
I have yet to completely see it extended.
I acclimated for an hour or so and afterwards I applied coral rx for about 8 minutes and let the dip do its work...
There were no pests or any kind of inverts found.
What I love is that there was flesh growing around the heads that was healthy.
Love the communication which is also a plus. I can't wait to see how it colors up!
Once they completely extend (which may take a while), I will update with a new photo!
Thank you @Corals kingdom!
