Currently I have a 75gal. There is
1 foxface
2 clowns
1 firefish
2 court jester gobies
2 pistol shrimp gobies (they stay under a rock and only appear for food)
1 pistol shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp
3 peppermint shrimp
Various corals
Had a naoko wrasse i loved but kept picking on foxface and lost the battle. Looking for a few good adds, maybe another fish thats about the size of a foxface also? Suggestions and reasons appreciated

Also, If you cant tell I love my devils hand, just gotta figure out what to do with all the babies it drops everywhere lol 20220722_124500.jpg 20220722_124617.jpg 20220722_124630.jpg 20220801_161443.jpg 20220801_161453.jpg

Could try a tomani tang. Bout the only tang you could keep in that size tank. Could also try a fairy wrasse or melanarus wrasse. Never had issues with either one picking on anyone.

The Foxface IMO needs a 6 x 2 x 2 (72” x 24” 180) long term. So it will have to be rehomed. If you’re okay with some reef safe with caution fish, I’d add a Centropyge dwarf angel. Biota captive breeds Coral Beauties so I think that’s always a good choice. Other than that, look into a few basslets (Royal Gramma, Black Cap, Swissguard, Swales, Candy- expensive etc.), a wrasse or two, and Blennies. In place of the Foxface yes I agree you can do a smaller species of Bristletooth Tang (not the Chevron) if you wish.

Some of the Halichoeres wrasses, especially the Yellow Coris (Canary) and Red Lined (Biocellatus) make great additions. If you’re OK with a more difficult type of Wrasse, you could also consider the Leopard Wrasses. If you want a second slightly “larger” fish, I would suggest a Roaps subgenus butterfly (Mitratus and Burgessi are more accessible and affordable than the other species).
