I need a little more flow across the bottom front of my aquarium, I've got a little red slime that I want to nip in the bud. Any suggestions for a small unobtrusive? means of added flow?
Here is what I've got now:

I like how my powerhead on the top left is directed at the surface of the water, but I'm open to suggestions for the p.h. on the top right.

I have 2 sicce Voyager 3 power heads in my tank. Both are around 6" down and about 4" from the back. Both are pointed to the surface and slightly towards the front. I have a small power head in the lower right corner for flow behind my rocks. It's hidden so you don't even see it. But I do plan on getting a wp25 for my tank which will give me better flow. A wp40 would work on your 90.

I would suggest a Ecotech mp10 and place it on back wall where it will hit front glass and dispearse and give flow to bottom portion of tank. Mp10 is very small and motor fits on backside of glass.

It's a way cheaper version of the mp 40 vortec power heads. I've only seen good reviews about them plus they are directional. They are around 100.00 or less depending on where you get it. I've seen them at a place called fish street. They also have different wave settings like the vortecs.

So mp40 or mp10? Where on the back wall should I put it? Back left, back middle?

I would say the middle would be good.

I agree with Mike. Center back should do nicely.

I would definitely go with a wp unless you have money to throw out the window. The wp makes less noise and a lot easier on the wallet.

The Ecotechs are adjustable to any flow you would like and they have a small footprint. As they say you get what you pay for.

The wp can be aimed in different directions has different flow settings and have heard they are better than the ecotech. A fellow reefer I know has had both and says the wp out performed the mp. I would rather pay less for more. Just my opinion.

Ordered the wp10 today, pre-order. The site says they'll ship on the 27th.
