Recommendation: Hybrid for 6ft Tank

Hi All,

Anyone have a good hybrid fixture commendation for a 6ft tank?

Seems like the aquatic life’s are only 60” long

6' bars are sort of tough to find. SB reeflights makes a 6' LED bar.

Reefbreeders bars only go up to 60". But, they are working on something new, similar to a Blade.

I run metal halides and radions with reefbrite bars on my 6ft peninsula

I use a 60“ aquatic life hybrid on my 6’ 180 gallon mixed reef. As you can tell, I’m not a photographer :)

4xr30's should not need anything.
That said I run 4 xr15's on my 80g with a quanta meso blue bar. This gives me an average of 100 more par.

Also Quanta says to get the bar the same lenght as the tank. Orphek says to run a 36" on a 48" tank. 6" less either side is fine.
I now wish I would have got the 36" Quanta but went with their recommendations.

Yea and they are made in the US.

I haven't used them. At one point, that company made some of the *better black boxes. Their bars look to be similar to the quantas, although more watts but maybe not as nice and not American made.

I honestly thought they were made here.
Anyway I like their mesa blue and I have run the Orpheks.
Dont think you can go wrong with either.

I had orphek reef bars in the past, dang those things were heavy as heck.
