Recommended bioload amount?

I am considering a 33 gallon reef tank in the future and was wondering if the fish I have in mind would be too many. I am thinking about two clownfish, a firefish, a blemmy, and a cleaner shrimp. I would also add some small snails and hermit crabs too. Is this too many animals for this size tank?

Nope, that would be an acceptable bioload and compatible stock list. Just ensure you have sufficient rockwork with caves and alcoves where fish can hide out of sight if desired, this will keep them happy and they will in fact feel more secure swimming in the open knowing they have somewhere to hide if desired. Also, don’t add all fish at once. Pair of clowns can go in together post cycle, then add the others one at a time a month a part or so.
