I want to put some of my corals on some (heavier) frag tiles that can lay on the sand without floating away. Do you have any recommendations on which brands or products to use? Thanks!

I use ocean wonders 3" tiles, I like the ceramic because they are easier to clean and don't need to cure, the aragonite are nice because you can write on the bottom of them.

Is there other tiles that you can use like from home depot maybe the 3-4 inch ones does it have to be a certain type

I have heard of people using uncoated travertine tiles with success but I have not tried it myself since all I could ever find is the ones with the mesh attached and seems like a lot of work to remove it with the hopes of keeping the tiles intact, but it seems like you can save a lot of money if you have the time and patience.

I use Ocean Wonders frag products from BRS. I love the frag rocks in particular.

Old post reply, if you soak the travertine with mesh in water for a few days the glue backing will become really soft and is easy to remove after that.

We use the 4 inch ones off Amazon; they come with 1/2 brake lines for fragging. 4 inch's takes up more room but they are well worth it. Just look up 4 inch frag disk on Amazon. They pop right up
