recommended or facts?

hey everyone...new here ... not too new to the hobby...done a lot of research had a lot of insight...most people say recommendations and use them as must dos... imo i gather info and make educated decisions...in regards to people always saying let a tank mature before puttong anemones in them...has anyone here done otherwise and accomplished what they wanted...or even in other cases other than anemones?

I have in 30+ years of trying never been able to keep one past a month or so.....but I have always tried to rush it I think.
I doubt I will ever try again, but if I do it would only be with a very mature tank (over a year or more of STABILITY)
