I am growing GSP on the two back walls of my 50 gallon pentagon tank. I've started with two 1": frags and both are doing well and spreading except that one has algae growing in the center. I have already tried scrubbing the algae off the frag but it returns. My nitrates and phosphates levels are very low too low in fact. The only green algae growing in the tank is on the GSP. The tank is 70 days old and I'm producing coralline algae on the rock work.
I'd like to eliminate the algae on the GSP and I've read that a mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide and Seawater may kill it off completely. My questions are (1) What ratio of H2O2 to seawater, (2) How long to expose the GSP and (3) will this kill of the Algae for good. Thanks
