Any thoughts on what’s going on with my rectangular trigger? He is eating fine and acting normal. IMG_0561.jpeg IMG_0562.jpeg IMG_0560.png

Looks like gash injuries and as you may have noticed, these fish spook easily and dive into rocks and wedge themselves. In turn they get these injuries. To assure its just that , please post pics under brighter lighting to confirm. Best would be a video and to reduce fish being too spooked for video, set your cell phone on video mode for about 40 secs and drop a little food and walk away - YOU MUST walk away as they know youre there. It should come out and you then captured it on video

Looks like he put himself to bed for the night I’ll get a picture tomorrow for review.

Thank you for your help!

Thank you, I remember when I got him they told me that triggers are extremely hardy fish and difficult to kill… do you think I have to worry about it and he’ll recover fine or should I move him back to Qt and observe

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
