Red algae?

I have a red algae growing. On overflows it is like scotch brite. On rocks it looks a little like star polyps. Any thoughts

They don’t have stalks like polyps and you can fit 4 or 5 on a pencil eraser. Very small

I was thinking the same thing.
Pictures are pretty blurry (to me) but looks like they have 8 tentacles.
I'm not proficient in identifying the tons of species of "octo" corals if that's where they fall though.
Ya I’m with you, unfortunately I just need to look in my tank. Fortunately they are only on two rock structures. Although I know it doesn’t eat them my tuxedo urchin makes a path down to the bare rock eating the algae between them.
