Red Blob on Acro?? ID help

This is my first SPS, so no clue what this could possibly be, but it’s growing…. Started deep red mark smaller than a pea. Can anyone tell by these pictures what it could be and what I should do about it? I know bad pics, best I could get…

Pic is blurry. Could be vermetid or sponge. Scrape it off and discard.

Successfully got it off. Scalpel wouldn’t work, it broke. Use coral cutters and whole thing chunked off. Here is pic out of water.

That is a vermetid snail. They can multiply quickly. Some people really hate them.
