Hey all , so I have this red dragon, actuallt I have 2 as I broke it by accident ( they are very delicate ), anyways I have it about 1/2down mY tank. It's a standard 150 gal tank . My parameters are all good. I just feel it should be more colorful. I posted a pic of it , the tip are actually light purple bit they look white in the pic. Any tips or feed back would be great. Thanks everyone

Looks alright to me. Mine seems to grow well in medium light and flow... in fact the fastest growing acro in the system.

Give it less light if you want it to be darker red. The sweet spot is when you can get it darker red with blueish tips

Do you know which one it is? CITR Red Dragon is more red with whiter tips than some of the ones that came in later on or are aqua cultured. I have seen some that just always look like that one. Not all of them out there are the same coral.

You might try moving it up and down for a few weeks at a time until you find a sweet spot.

I agree it will darken up with proper nutrients/light balance. Its on the lighter side but looks decent to me..
