Mines grows in spurts, and agree the polyp are white and don' really come out during the day. I broke mines now I have two medium colonies and and two small frags. I put the frags way low to see if there is a diffrence in color or anything.

I love Red Dragon! One of my favorite acros. Sadly, I've not had success with it long term.

The red dragon is one of my favorite pieces. I haven't tried it again since I lost my big colony from a crash a while back. It had white polyps and during lights out the PE was insane!

What kind of flow was it under? :)

Medium flow I'd say, it was below an mp40 so it wasn't getting direct flow. When branches started to reach the more direct flow they would always bleach and die so I was constantly trimming.

I've been getting good polyp extension as of late. I figured out the mystery of the pick polyps. What I'm seeing is the body of the red dragon is reflecting onto the polyps to give a pick look. I've been looking down on it. Pulled a chair up to observe the tank just now and am now looking up at it. The polyps are definitely white from this angle
