hey guys,

i have had an abundance of Red Hair Algae the kind that looks like Cotton Candy in my tank refugium. Although i don't believe it is effecting anything and not making its way into my display tank, i was curious if anyone has any cures aside from chemicals. I would rather add a creature that can help eradicate the algae.

Thanks in advance

We had a lot of reddish hair algae in a display at work. We added collector urchins and diadema urchins and after a while(can't remember how long) those algae were gone.
