Picked up one from WWC back in June.
Has always looked great, opens huge most every day, color is amazing, but everyone days how fast they grow and spread but mine has not grow, split, spread at all.

Still the same single shroom for 6 months, about the same size.

Don’t need it taking over the tank like Xenia but was hoping it would spread to cover the rock it’s on.

Thoughts?

Looks to be pretty healthy but one side appears irritated possibly.? Is that a vermited snail on the rock in the copy I circled? Just a thought. If so the irritation could definitely slow or stall growth.

Don’t think it’s a vermetid snail, had some come in on a rock I got from Tampa Bay Saltwater, but threw it in a quarantine tank with some bumblebee snails and they cleaned it up pretty well.
Haven’t seen one anywhere since.
