As many of you know I have a vast array of zoas in a zoa-dominated 6ft tank. I also have 3 Noopysche ii v7s where there's a Channel just for the Red spectrum.

QUESTION: zoa produce zooxanthellae (algae) for color. Wondering from those of you with largely successful zoa tanks, if Red spectrum is of any benefit in small percentages?

I currently and in the past have been.using "0" Red light.

Anecdotally I like to have some red and green in my spectrum although not a lot, radion xr15 only have like 1 diode of each I set mine to 15% then overall intensity is at like 60% so do that math lol not very much red but I use it… as long as my nutrients are low (phosphates) I have no issues with algae tbh
