Hello I have recently upgraded to the red sea s-1000 and got the red sea 12000 Return pump G2 for the tank. Whenever I plug it in the controller that comes with the pump flashes on the 20 and 100 led's. it eventually stopped and the controller now doesn't light up at all, so I decided to get another of the same exact pump, and it is doing the same thing where the led's are flashing on 20, and 100. I have tried plugging it into different outlets, resetting it, etc, but I just cannot figure out what is wrong with these dang pump. If anyone has any info pls feel free to reach out!

Yes same controller and yes its in the water before plugging in.

I have no own experiences of this pump - only what I have read. Do you have a possibility to test another controller?

Sincerely Lasse

If you’re replacing an existing RS pump you’ll need to reinstall via ReefBeat - at least I did when those lights were flashing in the same manner. The new inline manual control should work regardless. Also, would suggest replacing the brick with thenew brick. Mine ran for a few months fine on the orig brick then wouldn’t start after a maintenance event.
