Red Sea Doser set as food head?

In the setup for the red sea doser there is the option to "set as food head". Does anyone use this? What kind of food (fish) would you be able to dose

If it is a doser, I would assume you would only be able to dose liquid 'food'. I'm thinking like trace elements, aminos, etc.
