I have a red sea max E260, and one of the circulation pumps just died. still not working after my attempt at cleaning. The stock pump is listed as 570 gph. not sure what type of pump it is? Sicce? anyone have any suggestions for a similar or upgraded pump that will actually fit in the back of the aquarium? area is approximately 5x4 inches. I don't have the under aquarium sump for the E260. I'm looking at sicce syncra silent 2.0 pump (568gph) which i think will fit. is more flow always better? should I get the 3.0 (714gph) one instead?

It's almost certainly a Sicce, yes. The Sicce Syncra 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 are all the same size (3.8"x wide by 4.9" length), so you should be able to fit any of those. They range in speed from 357Gph, 568Gph and 714Gph - so you probably want the Syncra 2.0 or upgrade to the faster Syncra 3.0.
