Job description

Red Sea is seeking an experienced professional aquarist with minimum 5 years reefing experience to join its growing Technical Support team. Based in our Houston office, this exciting role provides a great opportunity to work alongside Red Sea’s support and development teams; influencing product development & improvements and ensuring Red Sea customers receive the very highest level of support.

Key responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support to Red Sea’s trade and consumer customers; predominantly through Zendesk and direct trade/consumer telephone contact.
  • Seeking opportunities to promote Red Sea’s products and knowledge base through social media participation.
Required competencies:
  • Experienced reef-keeper.
  • Capable of diagnosing technical product-related issues, both hardware and chemical-related.
  • Proficient in assembly of aquarium systems, cabinets, lighting systems etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Red Sea’s products - a major advantage.
  • Experience with IoT consumer devices - an advantage.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal English and ability to communicate clearly with hobbyists and retailers.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and able to work harmoniously within a professional team.
  • Reliable and diligent, with excellent prior work attendance record.
This is a full time position , Mon-Fri 8am-4pm in an office setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
